Customer Service
Do you possess a strong background in customer service and skills working in a call center environment? We are seeking dedicated, hard-working, customer focused individuals to assist us in answering inbound calls and assisting customers with information and orders.
Responsibilities include: accurately answering customers' product and order inquiries efficiently, placing orders accurately, and updating customer files with correct and current contact information, as well as pattern and piece requests as required.
Positions available include 1pm-10pm Thursday-Monday, 1pm-10pm Saturday-Wednesday, and 9am-6pm Monday-Friday with alternate Saturdays.
Job Requirements:
The preferred candidate for this position must be detail oriented and quality conscious, with the ability to work in a high volume environment and handle high pressure situations. Good computer skills are required and you must pass an in-house data entry test. Must have excellent phone etiquette with solid communication skills in English. Customer Service experience preferred.
Graphic Artist
Replacements, Ltd. is seeking a full-time Graphic Artist to join our in-house Imaging Department. The Graphic Artist assists with designing advertisements, forms, and publications produced by Replacements, Ltd.
One of the first projects in this position would be to create line drawings of photographed or scanned crystal images using Photoshop or Illustrator. Drawings consist mainly of stemmed crystal pieces, including but not limited to water goblets, wine glasses, and champagne flutes. The expectation of this project would be the creation of an average of 30 drawings per day.
The ideal candidate will have a superior drawing capability, high art aptitude with the ability to recognize and transfer proportion. Qualified applicants will be tested for their aptitude in using Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop to create intricate line drawings of crystal stemware. The test will last 20 minutes and will be evaluated on the basis of speed and accuracy.
Job Requirements:
Excellent knowledge of Mac design software required; must have ability experience in Adobe Photoshop; experience in print design preferred; knowledge of Freehand, Illustrator, Quark, Pagemaker, and Acrobat is helpful; ability to work in a high-volume work environment and meet deadlines; occasional standing, walking, bending, and stooping required; ability to moderately lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally push, pull, and climb a ladder.
Web Developer
We are looking for an experienced and creative Web Developer
to assist the web administration team in maintaining and furthering the development
of its award winning web site. The Web Developer, under the direction of the Web
Site Administration Manager, will assist in the day to day activities of designing,
coding, testing, and managing web content in addition to the ongoing development
challenges presented by the demand of 1.5 million web visitors a month.
Job Requirements:
The preferred candidate will be detail oriented, with analytical,
organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Must have an understanding of Web
history and web architecture and its fundamentals. Must be familiar with the InterNIC
domain naming schema and its fundamentals. Requires thorough knowledge of markup
languages.
Must have thorough knowledge of internet-standard web browsers.
Experience with cascading style sheets including syntax, functionality, inclusion
options, and compatibility issues a must. Knowledge of forms including form elements,
form design, and processing form data required. Requires experience with CGI,
Java, JavaScript, VBScript, and ASP. DHTML or XML experience also a plus.
Requires experience with web development tools including
both WYSIWYG and code-based development tools. Experience with Macromedia Dreamweaver
required, experience with Macromedia HomeSite or Cold Fusion a plus. Must be able
to perform front-end web site development using web site editing software and
some hand-coded HTML as well. This front-end development includes creating and
updating web pages, familiarity with web graphics optimization, and general web
site design.
Requires web graphics processing experience including knowledge
of image formats, image maps, static images, and experience with graphic design
tools. Audio, video, and animation experience a plus. Requires experience of database
connectivity including knowledge of data sources, ODBC, SQL, CGI, IDC, ASP.
Silversmith
We are seeking an experienced Silversmith who is capable
of performing advanced repair services such as removing difficult dents from hollowware,
soldering all types of metal, restoring hollowware, using a plating system, removing
monograms, casting, carving pattern design, insulating or replacing the insulation
in coffee or teapots, and replacing knife blades. The shift available is 8a-5p
M-F. The salary for this position is open based on experience.
Job Requirements:
The preferred candidate for this position will have at least
2 years experience as a Silversmith, with fine attention to detail and a strong
sense of customer service.
