5-Piece Sterling Silver Tea Set by Eoff & Shepard This extraordinary set was made circa 1850 for the New Orleans market. Although this beautiful set was made by Eoff and Shepard, its detailing was added by Henderson and Gaines. This 5-piece set was crafted to resemble a woven basket.
The set consists of a coffee pot (8 7/8” height, 45.14 troy ounces), tea pot (7 1/2 height), creamer (5 1/2” height), sugar bowl (9” height), and waste bowl (4 3/8” height). The total weight of this unique set is an overwhelming 129.85 troy ounces. The front of each piece features a lovely "Stewart" monogram while the reverse side features an elegant initial monogram.
