This exact piece was recently included as part of the “Letter from the Silver Desk” featured in Silver Magazine.
This particular piece was referenced as a claret jug in the March/April edition of Silver Magazine. As shown in “Modern Silver Throughout the World 1880-1967” by Graham Hughes (1967 edition, Page 44). This piece stands 14 1/2” tall and features design characteristics that are indicative of the art nouveau period. The body has a unique organic form.
