Silver Hollowware
Imperial Queen Sterling Silver Tea Set by Whiting Manufacturing Co.
$16,999.00
Whiting Manufacturing Co. originally opened in North Attleboro,
Massachusetts. Later, the eminent company moved to New York City and made their
Imperial Queen sterling service in the rococo style.

The pieces are fashioned with large shells surrounded by
“S” scrolls. Appearing on the pieces are bands of brush strokes and
repeating floral swags. This set was crafted circa 1909, prior to the purchase
of the company by Gorham in 1924. The tea set shown comes with a tea pot, coffee
pot, creamer, sugar, waste bowl, and kettle with stand for a total weight of 154.81
troy ounces. Pieces are stamped underneath with the Whiting
lion trademark and are numbered 191 through 196. Replacements, Ltd. carries
the corresponding Imperial Queen
flatware pattern.
