Replacements, Ltd. named one of 2007 best places to work in U.S.

GREENSBORO, N.C., January 8, 2007 – The Human Rights Campaign Foundation, the nation’s largest gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (GLBT) civil rights organization, today named Replacements, Ltd. as one of the Best Places to Work for GLBT Equality 2007. This honor is given to companies that achieved 100 percent on the HRC’s 2006 Corporate Equality Index, which rated how major American companies treat GLBT employees, consumers and investors. Replacements has received a perfect score every year since the HRC started its index in 2002.

Over the past months, many national publications have chronicled the movement of corporate America to become increasingly pro-equality. Replacements stepped out ahead of this push more than a decade ago by adopting groundbreaking GLBT policies during a time when most companies weren’t sure how to handle this issue.
