Replacements, Ltd. announces second retail store for holiday season

GREENSBORO, N.C., September 5, 2007 –  Replacements, Ltd. announces plans today to open a second retail store for the upcoming holiday shopping season. 

“Our warehouses are literally bursting at the seams with incredible buys for our customers, but we’re limited in space at our current showroom,” says Replacements’ president, Scott Fleming. “This not only gives us the chance to better serve the public, but will help us test the feasibility of further retail expansion.”

The 2,882 sq. ft. store will offer a broad range of china, crystal, silver and collectibles, along with a wide selection of holiday ornaments and decorations. Customers will be able to place orders and send gifts directly to friends and loved ones, eliminating the extra steps of having to package and ship themselves during the busy seasonal rush. They can also use Replacements’ electronic pattern database of more than 269,000 patterns to search and register for free pattern listings. The store not only offers convenience, it will open Replacements’ doors to new shoppers.

“The majority of customers we see in our showroom are primarily travelers who see us as a destination attraction,” says Showroom Manager Keith Winkler. “Having this store located at a major shopping mall will allow us to reach out to an entire new group of shoppers from across the Piedmont-Triad who perhaps didn’t want to drive out to our permanent location.”

Replacements’ second store will be located on the first level of Four Seasons Town Centre next to Belk. The grand opening is set for September 15, 2007; the store is scheduled to remain open through January.
