Evesham
Gold is an alluring pattern that features assorted fruit
still-life designs that look nearly lifelike. These designs
are beautifully contrasted against a luminescent white background and striking
gold trim. Production of Evesham Gold started in 1974, and it is still
being produced by Royal Worcester today. Evesham Gold is a part
of the "Evesham" family of patterns, the most popular line ever
produced by Royal Worcester. The pattern was designed by Robert
Baker, a professor of ceramics at the Royal College of Art in England. He
and two pupils, Ronald van Ruyckevelt and Peter Ewence, used real fruit still-lifes
as a reference when creating the nearly three-dimensional fruit designs Evesham
Gold has become famous for. The end result is an eye-grabbing pattern that
is sure to draw compliments from even the most discerning guest. This is a great
