This piece is beautifully handcrafted based on a design created by Georges Chevalier in 1952. Master designer Chevalier joined the Baccarat team in 1916, and worked for them for several decades. In 1925 he created a waterfall chandelier for the Exposition Internationale des Arts Decoratifs et Industriels Modernes in Paris. This show is considered the birth place of the Art Deco movement.
