"It was a cold and blustery night..." and in fact it was just that! Yet 11 brave souls found their way to Glass Club in April, 2003. With them came almost 60 pieces of glass. The theme was Easter related: Glass eggs, rabbits, chickens, and baskets. Of course we get excited about All glass. We learned a little about cut glass baskets and handled a great one with an acid marked signature for Libbey Glass Co. The oil lamps we studied this month were Duncan Glass Co's Quarter Block pattern in an amazing nine different sizes and styles! We were successful in identifying several pieces for each other including a Fostoria compote in line #2433 produced only in 1931-32 and a hand blown milk glass Easter egg found in a dated 1900 Dithridge Glass Co ad.
