This month, we are featuring an adorable Papillion named “Foxie.” This playful and friendly dog belongs to Teresa Blankenship, a member of our phones sales team. Teresa found Foxie behind a barrel that had washed up on a river bank in West Virginia. The dog was quite scared and unable to move. Teresa immediately took Foxie to a vet where it was determined that Foxie had been shot in the leg. The veterinarian advised that the bones in Foxie’s front left leg had been shattered by the gunshot and the leg would have to be amputated.

Teresa brought Foxie home from the animal hospital. Foxie quickly adapted and became playful and affectionate. Teresa says that she found Foxie at a very low point in her life and she is very grateful to have had the opportunity to rescue her. Foxie goes everywhere with Teresa. By the veterinarian’s approximation, Foxie will soon be six. Teresa had this to say about the Replacements, Ltd. pet friendly policy, “I do appreciate our policy. I love having Foxie with me – she is such great company. Foxie always thinks of visiting Replacements, Ltd. as a vacation. She gets lots of treats and attention.”
