Replacements, Ltd.
Featured Pet - March 2005
Our
featured pet for this month is Charmin, an adorable Bichon Frise. Her owner, Arnitre
Rosser, is a member of our sales team. Both Charmin and Arnitre have been with
us for a little over four years. Charmin is sometimes called “Princess”
because she is so spoiled.
Arnitre received Charmin as a gift from a friend, Renee.
Renee was looking for the perfect home for a small dog. Arnitre admits that she
had never heard of a Bichon Frise before getting Charmin. Bichon Frises are sometimes
referred to as “powder puff” dogs. They generally have a happy and
outgoing demeanor and are relatively small. Arnitre was shocked at how hyperactive
Charmin was. Arnitre spent a great deal of time training Charmin and soon the
dog became a model canine citizen at Replacements, Ltd.
Occasionally, Arnitre works at our front desk answering phones
and greeting customers. Charmin generally accompanies Arnitre to the front desk
where she naps by Arnitre’s computer. Some of our customers know Charmin
by her given name, and others call her “The Princess of Replacements.”
Arnitre said that Charmin has become so docile that sometimes customers think
that she is a stuffed animal.
Charmin has also been called a “diva dog.” Almost
anytime you pass Arnitre in the halls of Replacements she is carrying Charmin
with her. Charmin loves treats and loves receiving attention from all of her “aunts”
and “uncles” at Replacements. If you have a treat for Charmin, then
you are guaranteed to have a close friend for at least the next ten minutes. However,
Charmin has also been known to display real “diva dog” tendencies
and may simply ignore those she doesn’t have the inclination to play with.
Arnitre says that these are sometimes the habits of a diva, but Charmin is lovable
just the same, and loves coming to work at Replacements.
